I bought this and donated it to the PTA at my son's school. It's great to keep in the office for people to drop of membership forms and other items. It doesn't seem overly flimsy, but of course I'm sure someone could get into if they wanted. We just needed to centralize communications and keep personal information and mail safe from getting lost in the shuffle. The blue is a little more blue and vibrant than what is shown on my screen.The box is strong and handsome and does the job.This box is working out great. My music students at school like to guess the "mystery melody" I have hanging on the wall and put their "secret" ballot in the box. I had a cardboard box there before which anyone could open and peek into to read others' guesses. The slot on the side is perfect to hold the blank ballots and the key/lock works great.Using this for a money collection box at a micro market "honor system" break room store. The box seems very sturdy and adequate for "keeping honest people honest". We used the pocket on the side to add forms for our customers to charge items as needed.We loved our first one so much we’ve purchased a second for when we have 2 events running at the same time. This is the perfect size and love the color and quality!well made but the paint is crappy - I repainted itIt worked for donations although if someone really wanted to get into it, it would be rather easy. As my father would say "Locks are meant to keep honest people out".We use this box at our fundraisers outside local stores. They are secure and eye catching. We are very happy with this purchase.
