the item was shipped in the manufacturers package which was just a layer of plastic shrink wrap around the wooden case. the case was scratched up and the internal dividers were broken and dislodged from the case.the broaches are good quality, the one i used cut a into a steel gear with no issues. the bushings and shims are not of the same quality. the slots are not centered on the bushings. i had to machine a new 7/8" bushing to use the 3/16" broach. i havent used the other sizes yet but i can tell just by looking at the bushings. each broach only comes with one shim so if the bushings were usable you would only be able to make 2 cuts with each broach with no control over the final depth of the keyway.
